My Private Pay Rate for Therapy is $150 with an income based sliding scale available upon request. I accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, and Health Savings Account Cards. I can provide superbills to utilize potential out of network (OON) benefits upon request.
I am currently In-Network with the following Insurance Plans:
Aetna, Quest Behavioral Health
I encourage everyone to check their insurance benefits before making a decision on which type of payment you would like to use. Many insurance plans that claim to cover mental health services will not cover them until you meet your deductible. Not everyone meets their deductible to get their sessions covered, and I don’t want anyone surprised by a bill. There are pros and cons to utilizing insurance. Yes, insurance can sometimes make mental health services accessible, but insurance plans often dictate the type of care you are allowed to receive, and it provides them with access to your progress notes if requested. Private Pay adds another level of confidentiality to your care and more freedom for treatment modalities.
Couples Therapy
I offer virtual 53-minute couples therapy sessions. This type of therapy is often not covered by insurance, so be sure to check your benefits. These sessions are $180.
I work with couples who are seeking to increase their communication skills, find ways to reconnect, and/or are feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns. I utilize Narrative Therapy, Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help couples accomplish their goals together.
Life Coaching
I am a Certified ADHD Life Coach, and provide Life Coaching to individuals struggling with ADHD symptoms, executive dysfunction, or anyone who really wants to tackle specific goals. Insurance typically does not cover Life Coaching, but check your benefits if you want to utilize insurance. These sessions are also virtual 53-minute sessions and $150.
I blend coaching techniques with appropriate Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to help individuals identify goals and come up with plans to accomplish those goals. These types of sessions require a lot of homework outside of session. There is a lot of trial and error as new habits, routines, skills, and/or behavioral changes are tested to find what works for you and what does not. A lot of ideas for improving our lives can sound great on paper but don’t always work out in practice, so we need to find what works off the page and in your life. If something does not work for you, you are not a failure. The tool you tried failed you and was not the right tool. We can find the right tools for your tool belt.
